It’s not all fast cars, blue-flashy lights and loud nee-naaws. Well, it kinda is… however. PTSD in the Ambulance Service is a killer. A literal Killer.
Ambulance Staff in the UK take their own lives because of the stress we encounter doing our jobs. The amount of death, heartbreak, tears and bloodloss is enough to re-write a James Bond novel (Ever notice that historically nobody bleeds in bond?)
Already in 2017, 2 people have sadly taken their own lives. We are only on day 23 of January.
Stress is a killer. Don’t ignore it. Talk, for everyone’s sake, please talk.
